• Obstetric and gynecologic imaging: Our Ultrasound technology can provide clear images of the uterus, ovaries, and fetus during pregnancy, as well as diagnose conditions such as fibroids, cysts, and endometriosis.

• Abdominal imaging: We can provide detailed images of the liver, gallbladder, pancreas, kidneys, and spleen, which can help diagnose conditions such as tumors, cysts, and stones.

How should I prepare for an Ultrasound exam?

In most cases, no special preparation is required for an Ultrasound exam. However, for certain exams, such as abdominal or pelvic Ultrasound, you may be asked to fast for a few hours before the exam.

You should also wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing and avoid wearing jewelry or accessories around the area being examined.

Your doctor or Ultrasound Technologist will provide specific instructions on how to prepare for your exam.

Is Ultrasound safe?

Yes, Ultrasound is considered a safe and non-invasive imaging technique. Unlike X-rays and CT scans, Ultrasound does not use ionizing radiation, which can be harmful to the body.

Ultrasound uses high-frequency sound waves to produce images, which are then interpreted by a trained healthcare professional.

Ultrasound is generally well-tolerated by patients of all ages and does not typically cause any discomfort or side effects.
